Welcome to the IET Manchester Network

The Manchester Network, formerly the Northern Society of Electrical Engineers founded in 1893, was amalgamated with the Institution of Electrical Engineers on 8 March 1900. The Network can be proud of its history, being one of the largest Networks outside London, and over the years has been one of the most active.
