Welcome to the IET Manchester Network website
The Manchester Network, formerly the Northern Society of Electrical Engineers founded in 1893, was amalgamated with the Institution of Electrical Engineers on March 8th 1900.
The Network can be proud of its history, being one of the largest Networks outside London, and over the years has been one of the most active.
